“Back in the Gay” by William Saletan
-Are you with or against gay couples raising children?
-What do you think straight couples have to offer to their kids that gay couples do not?
Nagham Assaf: IQ is the mental age divided by the chronological age multiplied by 100. This indicator helps distinguish average people from gifted people. On the other hand, EQ helps distinguish the best among a variety of equally qualified people. Therefore, it should be taken into consideration in employment and valued as much as IQ is.
Nagham Assaf: Language is a vital means of communication and negotiation. It contributes to relationships between people, it gives them the opportunity to talk to each other as well as understand each other. Language helps people express their ideas and emotions, it curves the way for innovation and progress. Furthermore, it forms the identity of a group of people. It gives them a home and fills them with a sense of belonging.
#NaghamAssaf: we go into marriage having really high expectations, we say through thick and thin but we are not really ready to be there for thick and thin. We expect unicorns and fairytales, these expectations cloud our judgment and push us to jump at the first opportunity. So marriage is a partially failed institution and it is our fault.
